NOW ON CENTAUR! Brahms: The LATE PIANO PIECES

Daniel Shapiro has recently released a 2-CD set on the Centaur label containing all the late piano pieces of Johannes Brahms (Opp. 76, 79, 116, 117, 118 and 119).  It is available on all the major streaming platforms, as well as on Amazon.com.  This is a collection of incredibly poignant, powerful and profound music, and I enjoyed recording them, difficult as they are.  Here is a sample:
